When a completely new piece of jungle is discovered, Rose eagerly signs up to go exploring with two professors and some fellow students, including shy Carly and slutty Larissa.

They are there to study nature, but they soon find themselves the ones under observation. When Rose and Larissa are captured by cavemen they find themselves the sexual playthings of well-endowed neanderthals who don’t like to play gentle.

This book contains sex scenes of a highly erotic nature and the series will contain aggression and dubious consent.

I can now mark cavemen off my  ‘why is this a thing’ reading list…and it was sort of disappointing. The writing in this one was really poor, and most of it was just for shock value…because honestly, no one talks like this. Plus the caveman portion is only like 1% of the actual story…though honestly that was probably enough. *wrinkles nose* Plus most of it was just sort of gross, and what’s worse was it wasn’t funny either which is the main reason I even bother with this bizarre stuff to begin with. So this was a miss.

Victoria should be happy with her husband. He’s kind, he’s loving, he’s caring.

Her fantasies are a little wilder, though. Little does she know that he’s ready to give her exactly what she wants.

Her husband is a shapeshifter. She married a dragon!

I Married a Dragon is a shifter erotica, and it does what these odd shifter novellas do best…make me cringe. Steamy? Sure…well maybe, but only if you can forget just how gigantic this dragon is supposed to be. Not to mention the author goes into just how painful it is, which she gets points for because a lot don’t even mention the pain and I’m usually left wonder just what sort of traffic the woman sees on the regular. However if you’re looking for weird and bizarre, while being semi (uncomfortably) steamy then it’s a good novella to visit. But at 13 pages it’s a tad short.
