Sunday Post (54)

Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. ~ Inspired by the meme In My Mailbox.~

It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Happy Mother’s Day to all those awesome mothers out there! I hope you have an awesome day today because you definitely deserve it. I feel like this week has been busy…but I can’t remember a single thing I did. These past few days have been full of blog updates as well! I’ve been changing the format of the reviews, trying to make sure that they follow FTC guidlines (though the FTC only looks at blogs when someone directs them to one). However I want to make sure that you as readers understand the who, what and where for my posts; so I’ve made it easier to find! As of right now the Graphic Novel, Nonfiction, and Middle Grade reviews have been updated!

Book Haul:

Purchased:

My boyfriend bought me this at the Renaissance Festival this past weekend. Okay it’s technically a journal…but that’s a book right?! Actually it’s just a cover for journals and sketchbooks but it’s so awesome I had to share it. It was made by some guys who make leather armor, so that’s why it looks so hefty. It’s pretty heavy and really sturdy as well.

For Review:

Silver Demon by Caron Rider (Thank you Caron!)

So that is it for my week! How was yours? Remember to leave your links and I’ll drop by!

I’m going to have to check out how you’re reformating your posts. I plan to follow the FTC guidelines from now on, but haven’t taken the time to go back to past posts. Have a great week!

  12. Christy @ Love of Books says:

Eff the FTC! 😉 I love that journal/sketch book.

  13. Oh, the journal is very cool. Nice present!

I don’t plan on changing the old posts but I have moved the FTC info in each review higher up so it’s right there and easy to find. I know some people have been freaking out but I’m trying not to.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed it, leave a comment and tell me what you think.
