Sunday Post (100)

Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. ~ Inspired by the meme In My Mailbox.~

It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Hello new week! I’ve been busy scheduling posts and tackling all of my back logged reviews (there is a lot…again…) and for the first time in forever I actually started a book right after I bought it. It felt amazing! So I’m going to try and do that again sometime soon, it’s nice to browse in the store without looking at reviews ahead of time and just grab one that catches my eye.

I’m trying to get back into reading constantly and while I’m finally in the mood to do so I find that I’m not in the mood for most of review books, which poses a problem in a big way. At any rate it’s been a great week filled with reading, working, and friends.

It is nice sometimes to just pick up something that appeals and give it a chance. Hope this coming week is filled w/ good reading too!

For the past couple of months I didn’t have much interest in any of the review books I saw. If I was they weren’t due until months away. So I mostly been just enjoying the books I want to read when I want. I have more review books next month though. Ohhh and I need Lauren Millers new book, I loved Parallel.

  4. Tanja says:

Aww Thor and Loki. I have to find some time to read those comics as movies were great 🙂 You’ve got some amazing books this week and I really hope you’ll enjoy them 🙂

  5. I also bought a book this week and started reading it ON THE SAME DAY. That almost never happens to me either 😉

I think I’ll resolve to do it more often – I mean, if I bought it, I want to read it soon, right?!

    Have a fab week!

  6. I can relate to tackling back logged reviews, right now I have 14 waiting to be written. *sigh*
